Salesforce provides a different hidden cost and feature gaps. The maximum number of custom add-ons and App exchange is also very limited: For Group Edition- 1 add-on, Professional Edition- 5 add-ons, and for Enterprise Edition- 10 add-ons.

In case of Zoho, document attachments can be uploaded from Google docs, desktop of user, or Zoho Docs. In addition to this, mail-merge can be done with the help of Zoho Writer. In case of Salesforce, mail-merge is not easy.

Zoho CRM provides out-of-the- box dashboards for different modules including inventory, products, cases and solutions, campaigns, opportunities, contacts, accounts and leads. Zoho offers customizable dashboards. Whereas, in case of Salesforce; Contact Manager or Group Editions do not offer custom dashboards. This drawback of Salesforce compels businesses to move towards its high cost editions.

Zoho CRM provides support for Firefox 3.0 and IE7 browsers.  Salesforce offers limited capabilities for FOC ‘Lite’.

In Zoho CRM, user can add fields by means of drag and drop configurator. Whereas, Salesforce offers limited personalization for end user, and this personalization is applicable only to the home tabs and dashboards.

Zoho vs SugarCRM

Zoho CRM is an affordable solution. Zoho CRM does not need much customization and is best for all type of users. In addition to this, Zoho CRM can be customized to fit the particular needs of advanced users.  The Zoho CRM solution’s affordability, functionality and ease of use make it a winner. It provides free edition for 3 users without the need of contract.

Unlike Zoho CRM, Sugar CRM does not provide time management, invoicing, accounting etc. while providing more reliability and capabilities, Sugar CRM takes much time in loading and does not provide ease of use.

Contrary to Zoho CRM, some of the add-ons of Sugar CRM are not free. These add-ons need to be additionally ordered and involves installation cost. The upgrade process of Sugar CRM is resource-consuming. Successful up gradation of Sugar CRM is difficult to be achieved on a shared server as the upgrade times out.

 The professional Edition of Sugar CRM is available at $35/user/month, which is way expensive than Zoho CRM.

Zoho vs Highrise CRM

Zoho CRM and Highrise CRM are both good solutions. However, Zoho CRM is better than the Highrise CRM because it offers more features. High rise CRM is very simple, however its lacks several features that are considered essential by individuals.

With Zoho CRM, you can move projects from leads, and customize fields. You can move different companies from prospects to customers. Zoho CRM makes you run any type of funnel through it.

In case of Highrise CRM, each user has so much freedom of using the system; this makes many individuals to duplicate efforts, and many other nuances to take place.

Zoho CRM supports both B2B and B2C models of business, hence both Companies and Contract scenarios. Moreover, Zoho provides basic information of contact such as Skype ID. This makes users to start a direct web conference using the contacts tab.

Highrise CRM also supports B2C and B2B models of business. Contacts can either be organizations or people. The limitation is that these contacts cannot be converted. Users can add custom fields in the contact form but customization is not user-friendly.

Zoho CRM offers a large number of plugins/addons. The price of famous plug-in for Microsoft Outlook is just $3/user/month. Whereas the price of famous add-on of Highrise- Basecamp is $49-$149.

Zoho CRM vs Capsule

Zoho CRM provides businesses an extensive solution of managing life-cycle of customer relationship. This solution helps organizations to manage inventory, customer service and support, marketing and sales.

Compared to Zoho CRM, Capsule CRM does not provide any workflow.

Capsule CRM has an in-built List Functionality; however it does not allow users to pick different fields or relationships. Whereas, Zoho CRM also has an in-built lists, but users can add custom related lists to a record. These custom related lists allow users to view data gathered from some other sources.

Unlike Zoho CRM, news tags do not get automatically imported from existing records in Capsule CRM, therefore once the data gets cleaned then it has to be changed manually.
