eSofties Solutions, a software solution provider ,has partnered foreign companies like FICO, eXo Platform and Amazon to introduce a scalable Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) cloud computing platform. The new software solution, which will be launched by the end of the first quarter of the year, is a total package that includes a wide range of solutions and services that most organisations need in their daily business. They include e-commerce and e-procurement; payroll and accounting application; compute orchestration; a full and open native Application Programming Interface (API); credit scoring; as well as mail and enterprise unified communication.

Giving details of the new platform, Chief Executive Officer of eSofties, Mr. Nweike Onwuyali, said the solution would create the largest social business ecosystem in Africa that would leverage on the social media revolution, cashless policy of the Central bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the increasingly mobile connectedness.

According to him, the platform would provide opportunity for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across Africa to access world-class software as a service easily in the most cost-effective manner.

“Marketplace is one of the several cloud services that will be offered. The Marketplace is an e-commerce application that provides a digital collaborative environment that connects buyers and sellers together,” Onwuyali said.

What is unique about the platform, he added, is that the seller does not necessarily mean organisations that sell books, phones and computers only, but includes businesses like Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs); Insurance and Investment firms; Security firms and cleaning services; Internet Service Providers, Real Estate, Airline and much more.

He explained that businesses on the platform could integrate social part of business into their business processes and across their entire customer experience, which will increase loyalty and revenue.

“Buying is now extended to include both corporate and individuals. The platform will be able to simulate the purchasing and payment process of any organisation by providing a user-friendly workflow process tools. Buyers can pay with all local cards including international debit and credit cards. “Onwuyali said.

He stressed that other services like payroll and vendor payment solution would also be made available on the platform.

“As cost of doing business is increasing and economies of the world are becoming highly uncertain, businesses must find new, safe and secured ways of competing, and the eSofties platform will offer such solutions and services much better,” Onwuyali said.
